Reports
Make and share a client report
Pick a period and the sections that matter, add your note and logo, then share a link or send the PDF.
Make a report
Open Reports in the sidebar, choose New report, and pick the project.
Or use New report at the top of any project.Choose the Period and what to compare it with.
The last 7 or 28 days, 3 or 12 months, or a custom range, against the period before, the same period last year, or nothing. Every section covers the same days, ending at the latest day all the included sources have complete.Tick What to include.
Sections come in groups: the open alerts, the summary, organic search, website traffic, Google Ads, OpenAI Ads and site health, each with its own parts. Pick which Search Console properties, campaigns and site pages go in.Fill in the Cover and summary.
A title, a note to your client, and your logo. The summary starts as the project's latest AI summary, and you can rewrite any of it.Choose Generate report.
Your choices are remembered for the project, so next month's report is one click.
The workspace owner sets the logo, and it goes on every project's reports. An edited summary is used until a new AI summary is written after a sync. Numbers you type into it aren't checked, unlike the AI's.
A saved report never changes
- Generating takes a snapshot: the report shows the numbers as they were, however the data changes later. Every report stays under Reports, newest first.
- For an updated one, open the report and choose ⋯ → New report with these choices. The old one stays as it is.
- The open alerts are included only when the period runs to the latest data, so an old period never shows today's problems.

Questions
Can I change a report after generating it?
No: it's a record of that moment. Make a new one with the same choices, change what you need, and take the old link down if you shared it.
Why does the period end a few days ago?
Search Console publishes data 2–3 days late. So every section covers the same days, the report ends at the latest day every included source has complete. Leave Search Console out to end it sooner.
Does my client see MetricDeck's name?
With your logo on the cover, only in the closing line that says where the numbers come from. Without one, MetricDeck's logo heads the cover. On Agency, reports carry no MetricDeck branding at all.
