Terms of service

What the service does

MetricDeck reads marketing data from accounts you connect, calculates metrics from it, and presents those metrics as dashboards, written briefs and downloadable reports. Access to your connected accounts is read-only: the service never changes settings, edits campaigns or spends money in them.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.
• You must be at least 18 and, if you are using the service for an organisation, authorised to accept these terms for it.
• You must have the right to connect each account you attach, whether it is yours or a client's.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• connect an account you have not been given permission to access;
• attempt to reach data belonging to another customer, or to probe, scan or overload the service;
• resell or redistribute the service itself, as distinct from reports you generate for your own clients;
• use the service to break the law, or to break the terms of the platforms you connect.

Third-party platforms

The service depends on APIs operated by Google and other platforms. Your use of those accounts remains subject to their own terms. We do not control whether they are available, what they charge, whether they change, or whether the figures they report are accurate — and figures can be restated by the provider after we have synced them. Search Console data in particular is finalised two to three days late, which the app labels where it matters.

Your data

The data you connect stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to read it, store it and present it back to you as described in the privacy policy. You can disconnect a source or delete a project at any time, which deletes the data we synced for it.

Briefs and recommendations

Every figure in the product is calculated by our code from the provider's own API response. Written briefs are generated by an AI model from those figures and are intended as a starting point for your judgement, not as professional advice. Decisions about your marketing, and their consequences, remain yours.

Availability

The service is provided as it is, without a guaranteed uptime commitment. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, MetricDeck is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we can.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
