The short answer

## Which one fits

They do different jobs, and plenty of agencies use both.

### Choose DashThis if

* You want a polished, custom dashboard for every client.
* You need sources MetricDeck doesn't read yet: social networks, email platforms, call tracking.
* Your clients mainly want a monthly dashboard, and you're happy to read each one yourself.

### Choose MetricDeck if

* You want to be told which client needs you today, and why, without opening a dashboard for each one.
* Your clients run Google Ads, and you want the search terms wasting money found for you, with a negative keyword list to paste in.
* You run ChatGPT ads, or want to know whether ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can read your clients' sites.
* You want uptime, SSL, domain expiry and page speed watched beside the marketing numbers.

| What you open each morning | A dashboard per client, laid out the way you built it. | One Attention page: every client's problems worst first, each with the numbers behind it and a plain-English explanation of why. |
| Sources | Many integrations across ads, social, SEO and email. | Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads, ChatGPT ads (OpenAI Ads) and any website today. Meta Ads and Microsoft Clarity are next. Fewer sources, each read in more depth. |
| How it charges | By the number of dashboards. | Bundles of projects: Free for 1 project, then $19 a month for 3, $49 for 10 and $129 for 30. |
| Reports | The dashboard is the report. | A report built from the same checked numbers, with an AI summary you can edit, as a PDF or a link, with your logo from Starter up. |

FAQ

## Questions

Also compare MetricDeck with [AgencyAnalytics](https://metricdeck.app/compare/agencyanalytics) or [Looker Studio](https://metricdeck.app/compare/looker-studio) , or see [every plan](https://metricdeck.app/pricing).

Can I use MetricDeck alongside DashThis?

Yes. MetricDeck reads Google directly, so there's nothing to export or move: connect Google, pick each client's accounts, and the first sync brings in recent history. Keep DashThis for what it does well and let MetricDeck tell you where to look.

Can I build my own dashboards in MetricDeck?

No, on purpose. Every client gets the same tabs (Search, Analytics, Ads, Site health) with the numbers already checked, so there's nothing to build or maintain. If a custom layout per client matters most, DashThis is the better fit.

Does the AI make up numbers?

No. MetricDeck's code calculates every number; the AI only explains numbers it's given, and anything it writes that can't be traced to them is dropped.
